Наша миссия — популяризация в России современного искусства, поддержка международного художественного обмена и укрепление позиций Российского искусства в мире посредством сотрудничества с международными художниками и ведущими галереями, организации выставок в Москве и продвижения лучших российских художников за рубежом. Наш основатель — Илона Кесаева, выпускница Лондонской школы экономики и Института искусств Sotheby’s, дочь Стеллы Кесаевой, основателя и президента Stella Art Foundation, коллекционера и мецената, осуществившей ряд масштабных выставочных проектов в области современного искусства, комиссара Павильона России на Венецианской биеннале в 2011, 2013 и 2015 гг.

About the gallery
ILONA-K artspace gallery was founded in September 2020 in Moscow, Russia. It occupies the 2nd, as well as the 40th floor of the Mercury City Tower. The gallery’s founder Ilona Kesaeva is a graduate of London School of Economics and Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Ilona is the daughter of Stella Kesaeva, a collector and philanthropist, as well as the founder and president of Stella Art Foundation. In addition, Stella Kesaeva was appointed as a commissioner of the Russian pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2011, 2013 and 2015 by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The gallery’s mission is to stimulate and expand public perception of contemporary art in Russia and make it accessible to the local, as well as the international community. It aims to support and promote a diverse array of the Russian artists worldwide and facilitate the cultural interaction between Russia and the rest of the globe. Ilona-k artspace gallery values collaboration and dialogue and believes that it can make a powerful contribution to the contemporary art scene that is united by the common passion for art.
